It’s that time of year again! Join us in State College/Lemont for our second annual Retreat!

Friday, August 7th
Kick off the weekend with a Baseball game! We are going to watch the State College Spikes play against the Aberdeen Ironbirds and enjoy the ballpark. Pure American Fun!

Saturday, August 8th
Breakfast
Enjoy a health and hearty breakfast as we start our day. Breakfast will be buffet style, fill up on all your favorites.

After breakfast we will take a hike and Conquer Mt. Nittany. A great chance to get some low impact exercise in a beautiful Pennsylvania setting.

Lunch
BBQ picnic with all the fixings! We will have BBQ Ribs from Sharons real food recipes and Potato salad, cornbread, coleslaw, BBQ beans and more.

Right to Know Request Workshop
After lunch, we’ll dive into this critical workshop to arm you with knowledge. We will go thru practical exercises at the end of the instruction so you can leave confident in your ability to use this new skill in your own advocacy work.

Group Engagement Talk
Join us for an engaging discussion about how you can get involved in your community.

Activity
Let’s have some fun before we close us shop for the evening.

Dinner
Special plated dinner you don’t want to miss. Start with a green salad and homemade dressing followed by Garlic Chicken, Rice Pilaf, and Fresh French cut beans, but wait leave room for a special dessert!

Fire
After dinner, circle around the fire!
