We The People Party Member Jett Goss Announces Candidacy for Seat on Purchase Line School District Board of Directors
For Immediate Release
July 27, 2025
We The People Party of Pennsylvania founding member, Jett Goss, announces his run for the Purchase Line School District Board of Directors.
Hillsdale, PA – Former Purchase Line School District student, Jett Maddox Goss is running as an independent for a seat on the school board.
Goss, a student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, offers a much needed perspective in the administration of Pennsylvania schools. Many of our school board directors focus on the needs of administrators, teachers, and parents, but few represent the voice of our students. A graduate of Purchase Line School District, Goss is focused on the student experience, especially for students who don’t fit the one-size-fits-all approach to education, stating in his Facebook announcement, “I want to help make Purchase Line a district that sees potential in every student, not just the ones who follow the traditional path.”
Goss explains that his path to success was not easy. Struggling with ADHD and behavioral challenges led to his referral to alternative education programs. In his experience, these programs felt like punishment rather than support. After years of feeling isolated by an education system not built to serve students who do not fit the traditional mold, Jett was able to find his own path to success. Graduating from Commonwealth Charter Academy in 2024, Goss is now thriving as a political science major and member of the Student Government Association, representing the Off-Campus Students and Commuters at IUP.
He is looking to bring his personal insight to the Purchase Line School Board and become a voice for students who are being underserved. As Goss explains, “That’s why I’m running: to represent the students who don’t always get awards or applause, but who are just as capable and worthy of investment.”
Though a founding member of the We The People Party of Pennsylvania, Goss is running as an independent. He feels politics has no place in education. He stated in his Facebook announcement, “ I don’t believe there are 'Democratic children' or 'Republican children.’ There are just children who deserve a quality education.”
Goss also promises to carry out the We The People Party of Pennsylvania’s commitment to transparency, promising to make himself visible and engage with community members on social media about important issues.
We The People Party of Pennsylvania expressed excitement to see one of its members stepping up to serve the community. Communications officer Cynthia Dayton said “Jett is a person of integrity with a deep passion for educational reform and a commitment to the success of all students. We need more voices like Jett’s on our school boards. We congratulate him on his decision to run for office and make a difference in his community.”

We The People Party Joins A Coalition of Independent and Third-Party Voters to Support Josh Prince for Commonwealth Court Judge
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 19, 2025
Pennsylvania Independent and Third-Party Voters Coalition Declares Support for Josh Prince, Rejects “Party Loyalists” in Commonwealth Court Race
HARRISBURG, PA — A growing coalition of independent and third-party voters in Pennsylvania has issued a powerful statement to the state’s Republican and Democratic leadership: “We will no longer choose the lesser of two evils.”
In an open letter sent on May 19, 2025, to both major parties and their county affiliates, the Coalition of Independent and Third-Party Voters of Pennsylvania expressed outrage over the consistent nomination of party insiders and political loyalists who fail to represent the interests of everyday Pennsylvanians.
Citing the recent Commonwealth Court race as a prime example, the coalition condemned the candidacies of Stella Tsai and Matt Wolford, labeling them as “carefully selected party operatives” beholden to entrenched political networks rather than voters.
In contrast, the coalition publicly declared its support for Josh Prince, a constitutional attorney known for his unwavering advocacy for civil liberties.
Nathan D. Romig, the Coalition Organizer and signatory of the letter said:
“During the 2024 Presidential Campaign, we saw the power that Independent and Third Party voters can wield. When Kennedy supporters, those who now make up the We The People Party, and many others from third Parties, swung their support behind the Republican Ticket, they were responsible for making the difference between victory and defeat. It is in the best interest of the major parties that they take note of this and take action to win the votes of those essential swing voters.”
Gregory Deal, Chair of the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania (LPPA) and a signatory of the letter added:
“We stand by our rejection of the two-party establishment choices. Third-party and independent voters make up a majority of the voting bloc in Pennsylvania, and we urge both parties to use common sense in choosing better candidates.”
Other signatories to the letter include leaders from the We The People Party (the new Political Party coming out of the Kennedy 24 Campaign, Mises Caucus - PA, and the Constitution Party of Pennsylvania, reflecting a diverse and growing coalition of voters unified in rejecting politics-as-usual.
The letter closes with a firm warning:
“Whether or not his name (Josh Prince) appears on the November ballot as a major party nominee, we will cast our votes for him in the general election.”
This movement signals a rising tide of dissatisfaction among non-establishment voters in Pennsylvania, where electoral margins are often razor-thin and independent voices could decide critical races in 2025 and beyond.
