Pennsylvania Independent and Third-Party Voters Coalition Declares Support for Josh Prince, Rejects “Party Loyalists” in Commonwealth Court Race

HARRISBURG, PA — A growing coalition of independent and third-party voters in Pennsylvania has issued a powerful statement to the state’s Republican and Democratic leadership: “We will no longer choose the lesser of two evils.”

In an open letter sent on May 19, 2025, to both major parties and their county affiliates, the Coalition of Independent and Third-Party Voters of Pennsylvania expressed outrage over the consistent nomination of party insiders and political loyalists who fail to represent the interests of everyday Pennsylvanians.

Citing the recent Commonwealth Court race as a prime example, the coalition condemned the candidacies of Stella Tsai and Matt Wolford, labeling them as “carefully selected party operatives” beholden to entrenched political networks rather than voters.

In contrast, the coalition publicly declared its support for Josh Prince, a constitutional attorney known for his unwavering advocacy for civil liberties.

Nathan D. Romig, the Coalition Organizer and signatory of the letter said:

“During the 2024 Presidential Campaign, we saw the power that Independent and Third Party voters can wield. When Kennedy supporters, those who now make up the We The People Party, and many others from third Parties, swung their support behind the Republican Ticket, they were responsible for making the difference between victory and defeat. It is in the best interest of the major parties that they take note of this and take action to win the votes of those essential swing voters.”

Gregory Deal, Chair of the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania (LPPA) and a signatory of the letter added:

“We stand by our rejection of the two-party establishment choices. Third-party and independent voters make up a majority of the voting bloc in Pennsylvania, and we urge both parties to use common sense in choosing better candidates.”

Other signatories to the letter include leaders from the We The People Party (the new Political Party coming out of the Kennedy 24 Campaign, Mises Caucus - PA, and the Constitution Party of Pennsylvania, reflecting a diverse and growing coalition of voters unified in rejecting politics-as-usual.

The letter closes with a firm warning:

“Whether or not his name (Josh Prince) appears on the November ballot as a major party nominee, we will cast our votes for him in the general election.”

This movement signals a rising tide of dissatisfaction among non-establishment voters in Pennsylvania, where electoral margins are often razor-thin and independent voices could decide critical races in 2025 and beyond.
